Things that are evil.
I have just recently started to learn about investing. This is tragic, because it's happening right when the economy is tanking. My poor Roth IRA is taking a beating. And I hear tell of all these crazy stories about getting into the market now, while things are cheap, because the economy will "inevitably" bounce back, but...it feels like high-stakes gambling. I wish I had an investment circle (like a knitting circle, but with more money involved) of people who know more about this than I do. I don't want to make a gazillion dollars; I just want a stable retirement plan. You'd think that'd be easy, but thus far? It's been pretty damn complex.
